Amanda & Patrick score a cute and close-in home in Brooklyn

These cute people are the new owners of a sweet home in the Brooklyn neighborhood. They now live just a few steps from the Max and an easy bike ride to the best of SE! Congratulations Amanda & Patrick!

88 Acres! And Only 10 Minutes From Downtown Oregon City!

Ben was looking for a home with lots of land to fulfill his dream of owning an organic farm. Having grown up on a farm, Ben knew the kind of property he wanted. It took a long time to find the perfect place, but working with Karen, he found it! This lovely piece of paradise has room for all his future projects. It even has a creek running through it with a pond and a beaver dam! The best part is that he can be completely surrounded by nature all day at his farm, and then drive 10 minutes to the Highland Still House or Fecken to meet up with friends for a pint. Ben has been completely charmed by Oregon City. Speaking of charm, Ben is the nicest and most attractive man, and now that he has found his land he is open to finding Mrs. Right. Contact us if you are interested and we'll put you in touch with him. This guy is a real catch!

Matt & Lauren Score in Ladds Addition

Set the dishwasher to the party setting! Matt and Lauren are soon to be the new owners of a perfectly preserved Ladds Addition bungalow. I was able to get them inside and get their offer accepted before this gem even hit the market. I'm thrilled they will be staying in the neighborhood, they only have two blocks to move into their new home! Congrats Matt and Lauren!

Historic Condo on the Park Blocks

Purchasing a condo is one part finding the right space and one part researching the HOA as a business. Once you find a condo with features that suit your needs, you may discover through researching the HOA, that the majority of units are non-owner occupied, or there are up-coming assessments for new projects, or there are old problems yet to be properly remedied. Bill & Inge wanted to find a smaller unit, bike storage, and a solid HOA. After careful consideration to a few different buildings, they found a super 1-bed condo in a historic building overlooking the Park Blocks. Research pays off.

First-Time Homebuyers Ready to Go!

IMG_2544.JPG

When I met Rachel and Jayson they were ready to jump into the market-- pre-approved, knowledgeable about the market, and in agreement about what they wanted. Their goal-- to find a 3 bedroom home, lots of outdoor space, maybe a garage, and located in a neighborhood midway between their work. After being outbid on 2 homes, they came upon a lovely home that checked off the list in Milwaukie. Again a multiple offer situation-- this time in their favor! Way to hang in there through the ups and downs of a competitive market-- 2 months was all it took!

Shannon and Allan find it!

Shannon and Allan had already sold their house and were renting an apartment until they found the perfect house. They had to have a entry coat closet and good closet space in the bedrooms (not always an easy find in older homes!) They had seen this one several weeks before but their house hadn't yet sold so when it came back on the market we all jumped into action! After the inspections everyone realized that it was a bit of a fixer. With some tough negotiations, I was able to get them everything they asked for! Congrats to the Dysons and their new home!

John & Shirley's Dream

Sometimes it doesn't matter how long it takes - dreams can and do come true! When Jason and I met John and Shirley their needs were not complicated or fussy. They had waited their whole life for this - well 30+ years of marriage to be exact.....A nice home, in a good condition, reasonable distance to public transportation and a fenced yard where their grandchildren could play safely. Fast forward 2 months..... Jason found it for them over Memorial Day Weekend and they were in by July 4th. Home Ownership is a wonderful thing!

Jonah and Megan Win!

Sadly, the USA lost yesterday.. but Jonah and Megan won with the super cool, super cute mid-century home they scored in the Roseway neighborhood of NE Portland. Here they are signing, and Jonah is smiling even though he is missing the big game. We feel so lucky at Portland Proper, we get the nicest clients ever! Congratulations to these 2 lovelies!
